The cells are sealed in a glass substrate and aluminum frame called a solar module. Suntech solar cells are laminated between high transmissivity low-iron 3mm tempered glass and a sheet of tedlar-polyeaster-tedlar (TPT) material, by two sheets of ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA) to protect moisture penetrating into the module.

In accordance with Suntech's commitment to Quality, Service and Support, the products have been developed to not only pass, but in many cases surpass, the latest and most stringent international testing standards.

Suntech PV panels are warranted for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of sale to the original customer purchased against power degradation in excess of eight (8) percent of the minimum power output measured at an optimum voltage under standard conditions of 1000w/m2 at a cell temperature of 250C . Contact for repair or replacement of panels to restore lost power up to the minimum rated power output, provided such degradation is determined to be due to faulty workmanship of the module when the module was installed and used under normal conditions.
