Silicon Oxide Varistor (SOV) lightning surge arrestors can handle high current surges that are too large for an MOV or capacitor. They provide protection to electrical equipment by reducing problems due to lightning strikes or power surges. Surge arrestors react in as little as five nanoseconds and begin to conduct when voltage rises above the nominal line voltage after a specific time delay and handle an unlimited number of surges. The waterproof case is designed to install into a 1/2” knockout opening. Includes 18” long #12AWG wires. UL listed.

Class "T" Fuses/Block
Class-T fuses are also current limiting like the Class-R, but have an even higher AIC and are available in amperages from 110 to 400 Amps.These fuse blocks are typically used in between the battery bank and inverter.
The PFB fuse blocks come with set-screw lugs for cut cables.
Consult your dealer to determine the proper size fuse to use with your particular inverter.

Xantrex makes DC input safety a simple matter with our complete line of DC disconnects and breakers. The high amperage DC breaker is housed within a powder coated enclosure with conduit knockouts for SW and DR series inverter connection. Our DC disconnects are simple to install and meet all electrical code requirements for appropriate circuit protection.
DC disconnects are expandable, an additional 175 or 250 amp inverter breaker can be installed for dual inverter installations.
DC input/output breakers for PV, charge controllers, or DC loads can also be filed installed in a DC175 or DC250.
